Among the people in this book are Ernest Hemingway, Bas Jan Ader, On Kawara, Sylvia Plath, Robert Walser, Marguerite Yourcenar, Billie Holiday, Curtis Mayfield, Gil Scott-Heron and others.

This book is the extended and revised version of a booklet with the same title that was published in 2019, and which is now out of print.
